Domain Name Transfer Between Registrars

If your domain name was already registered to a registrar however, you want to transfer to another registrar to avail of their features, products and services, that can be done. Before having registered your domain name however, it should be an assumption that you have read the terms and agreements. There should be a provision in the terms in how you could process the transfer.

Transferring a domain name gives more benefits that making and registering a new one. You'd no longer need to go through the process to thinking about a new name, registering it and checking its availability and accumulating a reputation for your new domain name. Your domain name should be at least sixty days old before you make the transfer to a new registrar. You'd also need to check whether your domain is unlocked before you make the transfer.
